Sevice Design creates breakthrough cultural change in the financial industry in Brazil.
Service design can be a great tool to help infuse a culture of innovation in to big companies, even in traditional sectors of the economy. live|work in Brazil has shown that by empowering business leaders and decision makers with the right and relevant knowledge and service design tools, instant transformations can occur. The Wealth Management & Services area of the Brazilian bank Itaú-Unibanco, the largest bank in the Southern Hemisphere, embraced the challenge of using service design as its main drive for innovation, focusing on the implementation of a long term human-centered innovation culture.
Overall this program has reached over 150 executives, and soon a pocket version of the program is going to be attached to the HR welcome program, which means that it will touch every single new empolyee for the bank in the coming years. This is great proof that service design can reach beyond touchpoint design and actually transform corporate culture.
