Service Designer

As a designer at live|work, I’m involved in all aspects of making new services; from the initial understanding of the needs of our clients and their users – to the detailed design of the touchpoints that make the end experience. Working with service design allows me to make people’s lives better in a sustainable way.

I joined live|work in February 2007, and two months later Lavrans Løvlie, John Holager and I started the Nordic studio in Oslo. Live|work is an extremely effective environment, with large amounts of skill and passion. It’s also great fun, the service sector is strong here and our public services have huge potential for radical innovation. I have an MA in Industrial Design and after doing one of Norway’s first theses on service design in 2006, this is the perfect place to be.

In my spare time, I play the tuba and hope to one day own a grand piano and pioneer the live|work band.
