I believe anyone who has input into making or delivering a service can benefit from using service design techniques in their everyday work. As head of Service Design Capability, I see our approach to co-designing new services and improving existing ones as something that benefits both customers and employees.
I come from a business consulting background which has taken me everywhere from a paper factory in Norway to oil platforms in the North Sea. My clients are an eclectic mix including Volvo, ICI, HBoS, Texaco, Vodafone, Sony Ericsson, Norwich Union, Danish Rail, Häagen-Dazs and local government.
In my spare time I write feature length and short movie scripts and hope one day people will come to see my work on the big screen
