I believe that in no area of our work is this truer than in the public sector. My role at live|work has given me the opportunity to apply a design approach to projects with subjects covering domestic energy, business support, mobility and worklessness.

Many of these projects have demonstrated how taking a design approach can bring together people with differing perspectives, in what are often complex multi-stakeholder projects, to achieve a common goal.

Having been trained in industrial design at Northumbria University my time at live|work has continued to broaden my view of the remit of design and its potential to create economic, social and environmental value.
