John Holager

Senior Service Designer

“It’s simple, really. I like to fix unsatisfactory services.”

In 2006 I wrote a service design diploma on how to create fun, profitable and effective services for public transport in Oslo. After graduation I worked as an Industrial Designer for a modular housing company, where I did product development, interactive design and branding.

After some time, I left and co-founded a design consultancy with my good friend and co-worker, Anders Kjeseth Valdersnes. I soon realized that we both wanted to work with more complex and fundamental challenges than those we were offered through our own small agency.

In March 2007 I helped set up the live|work nordic office. Since then, my focus has been on fixing services for telecoms, financial services and my favourite topic – public transportation.
