“Service design presents an opportunity to every organisation.”

It is harder than we think for an organisation to see itself from the outside. Thinking about the way your organisation meets the needs of the people – customers, clients, citizens – you exist for is both essential and transformative.

I am a founder and director of live|work but manage to keep myself hands on with projects, providing direction and creative input. I love to get stuck in with new challenges, complex service situations and help to make sense of them. The best thing about my job is that I still get to nose around other peoples’ lives and work – all in the service of design.

I studied Fine Art at Liverpool, a Masters in Business and Responsibility at Bath School of Management and prior to live|work worked for Internet Agencies Oyster Partners and Razorfish.
